Evolution MMA was founded in 2017 by Steve Murray as a way to offer mixed martial arts training and Jiu-jitsu within the local Borders area. The first of it’s kind the club has grown from strength to strength over the last 2 years with over 25 regular members and continually growing.
The club is built on a team ethos with members actively helping each other improve and has a great friendly and safe environment to train in martial arts. Everyone is welcome to join us at Evolution MMA from beginners to more advanced practitioners.
We have recently affiliated with BJJ Globetrotters and are now official members of their community. As part of this we are overseen by Giles Garica from Ronin Grappling, who will regularly be coming down for seminars and to monitor progress.
